Cabin Fever rescheduled for May 9
The Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Office, 8200 State Route 366, Russells Point, will be closed through Monday, April 6, as a result of the governor’s stay-at-home order during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Chamber President Amber Fagan encouraged Indian Lake area chamber members to contact the organization as a resource during these times of closure.
“During this unprecedented time of crisis, I see our role being more important than ever before. You can use us for resources, guidance or simple encouragement as we all navigate this together. Feel free to send any flyers, updates or anything else you would like us to share,” she said.
“On our social media outlets, we have upwards of 8,000 people following. Each and everyone of you mean the world to us and we are here for you in anyway you need.”
In addition, Fagan reports that the chamber’s Cabin Fever dinner and live auction event previously scheduled for April 4 is being tentatively rescheduled for May 9. Steak and lobster dinners will be served with salad, green beans, sweet potatoes, baked potato, rolls and Nothing Bundt Cakes desserts. Proceeds will support the Indian Lake fireworks.
Reserved tickets are available online at www.visitindianlakeohio.com.
In addition, the chamber president also is offering the essential businesses the option to put together a promo video free of charge. Contact Fagan via Facebook messenger, e-mail [email protected], or at the office, 843-5392.
Morning/Evening Buzz will resume monthly starting in May for networking and friendship, she said.
“If you have some downtime, it’s a great opportunity to create flyers, pamphlets and any other materials to promote your business at our Buzz. If your business would like to host or be a co-host sponsor to these events, let us know.”
