• Bellefontaine — Bus drivers will deliver lunch to five drop-off locations between 11 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday from March 16-20 and March 30-April 3 (lunches are not delivered during spring break, March 23-27): Brookstone Apartments, Heritage Court, Red Bud Apartments, Southern Meadows and Union Station; Lutheran Community Services, 223 Oakland Square, Bellefontaine, also providing a daily hot meal from 10:30 a.m. to noon and 4:15 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, sack lunch is available between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Benjamin Logan — School buses delivering student lunches to communities within the district at designated locations between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at: Rushsylvania Village Park by the ball fields; the Belle Center Memorial Building at the park; Middleburg United Methodist Church; Veterans Park in Zanesfield at the parking lot near the Fire Station; East Liberty Post Office; and West Mansfield Veterans Park Alpine Parkway playground parking lot; students will receive that day’s lunch and the following day’s breakfast; if this timeline does not work for families, call the Food Service Director Jann McBrien, (937) 593-9211.
• Indian Lake — Meals begin Tuesday, March 17, students will receive one free standard meal from a unified menu each school day, with bus drivers delivering meals daily to area residences and bus stops with the assistance of educational aides; families should watch for the bus to arrive sometime between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m, students/parents should come outside and indicate the number the student meals needed, bus aide will leave those meals at the end of the drive.
• Riverside — District providing lunches at 11 a.m. March 16-20 and March 30-April 3, with buses parked at: American Legion in DeGraff, Cornish Drive and Miller Street in DeGraff, Mead and Humble drives in DeGraff, the Quincy United Methodist Church, Quincy Ball Park; if needed, delivery of lunches will be made available via school vans and a bus, call the school office to set up a provided lunch at (937) 585-5981 ext. 4310 or 4300 and leave a message with your name, address, number of meals needed and if you need it delivered or you will pick up; during district’s spring break, March 23-27, lunch provided by GRACE at 11 a.m. March 25 at the Pirate’s Den.
• West Liberty-Salem — West Liberty First Church of God distributing blessing bags over the next three weeks, pick up at The Grove, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, beginning from 10 a.m. to noon March 18 and March 20; carry out meals offered from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays beginning March 31 at the church, 315 Liberty St., West Liberty; Mad River Farm Market also providing free lunch to those students in need Monday through Friday, lunches consist of ham and cheese or turkey, chips and a treat. Orders should be called in to the Farm Market 30 minutes in advance; school district also has submitted application to the state to serve lunches, with additional details to be announced.
