The Hilliker YMCA youth swim team competed in the Stingray Pentathlon last weekend.
The Hilliker squad finished sixth with 10.5 points. Auglaize-Mercer County YMCA won the meet with 401 points. Also competing were Sidney-Shelby County YMCA, Preble County YMCA, Kleptz YMCA and Union County Family YMCA.
For the local team in the girls 8-and-under division, Caroline Jones finished 14th in the 25 backstroke and 16th in the 25 freestyle.
In the 9-10 age division, Clara Core placed 17th in the 50 breaststroke, 19th in the 50 backstroke and 25th in the 50 freestyle, Ella Fultz was 22nd in the 50 freestyle and 23rd in the 50 backstroke, Fiona Sweeney placed 14th in the 50 butterfly, 15th in the 50 backstroke, 16th in the 100 individual medley, 18th in the 50 freestyle and 19th in the 50 breaststroke.
For the girls 11-12 age division, Annika Chappell was 12th in the 50 breaststroke, 15th in the 50 backstroke, 16th in the 50 butterfly, 17th in the 100 individual medley and 18th in the 50 freestyle.
In the 13-14 age division, Anne Braig placed ninth in the 100 butterfly, 10th in the 100 breaststroke, 11th in the 200 individual medley, 12th in the 100 backstroke and 13th in the 100 freestyle, Laney Craig finished 19th in the 100 backstroke and 20th in the 100 freestyle and Bridgette Walters was 15th in the 100 backstroke and 17th in the 100 freestyle.
For the boys team, in the 8-and-under division, Caleb Hudson was seventh in the 25 butterfly and eighth in the 25 freestyle.
In the 9-10 age group, Grady Feasel was 11th in the 100 individual medley, 13th in the 50 breaststroke, 14th in the 50 butterfly and 17th in the 50 freestyle.
For the 11-12 age division, Cody Hudson finished eighth in the 50 breaststroke, ninth in the 50 butterfly and 12th in the 50 freestyle, Thomas Jones placed 11th in the 50 breaststroke, 15th in the 100 individual medley and 16th in the 50 freestyle and Liam Sweeney placed seventh in the 50 butterfly, seventh in the 100 individual medley, seventh in the 50 backstroke, eighth in the 50 freestyle and ninth in the 50 breaststroke.
In the 13-14 age division, Nolan Core placed fifth in the 100 freestyle, fifth in the 100 backstroke, fifth in the 100 butterfly, fifth in the 200 individual medley and sixth in the 100 breaststroke.
For the 15-and-over age group, Ryan Braig finished sixth in the 100 freestyle, sixth in the 100 butterfly, ninth in the 100 backstroke, ninth in the 200 individual medley and 10th in the 100 breaststroke.
