Five Benjamin Logan High School students and recent graduates have recently been recognized with AP Scholar Awards.
Senior Averi M. Lane received the AP Scholar with Distinction award.
Class of 2021 graduates Jacob B. McKenrick and Benjamin A. Coffield each received the AP Scholar with Honor award.
Fellow recent graduates Alexis C. Achor and Ava Graham were named AP Scholars.
“Every fall, the AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams,” said Sally Stolly, BLHS Advanced Placement coordinator.
The AP Scholar award is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
AP Scholar with Honor is presented to pupils who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
The AP Scholar with Distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
