Ohio Hi-point school board has taken its first steps toward financing about $4 million for the purpose of updating its academic wing on the main campus.
A resolution passed Wednesday in a regular school board meeting empowers school administrators to work with a local bank and seek out a lease-purchase financing agreement to fund the renovation of the school’s academic facilities.
“The amount needed to finance the estimated cost of construction, improvement, equipping and furnishing of such facilities,” is not to exceed $4 million according to the resolution..
