Three new full-time road deputies will be on patrol following appointment from Logan County Sheriff Randy Dodds.
Deputies Brandi Miles, Miriam Reames and Nicholas Burtchin are deployed as full-time road deputies for the sheriff’s office effective Aug. 30, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputy Miles is a military veteran and recent graduate of Edison Community College Police Academy, prior to being hired as a road patrol deputy with the sheriff’s office.
Deputy Reames started her career with the sheriff’s office as a corrections officer before being promoted to road patrol deputy.
Deputy Burtchin is also a military veteran, having started his career with the sheriff’s office as a corrections officer before being promoted to road patrol deputy.
They begin their field training on Sept. 1.
