Benjamin Logan’s volleyball team won the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division title for the fifth consecutive year this fall. That helped the Raiders secure four spots on the recently released all-league team.
Earning first-team honors for the Raiders were Bailey Shope and Kylie Frazier, while a second-team spot went to Molly Vance. Lynzee Cronkleton was a special mention selection.
For Indian Lake, Allix Cotterman earned second-team Mad River division honors and Bethany Golliday was named special mention.
Bellefontaine’s Mullaney Yoder landed a spot on the Kenton Trail division first team. Hannah Rader was named to the second team, while Lilly Palmer took home a special mention award.
Local players earning sportsmanship awards were Ben Logan’s Makenna LeVan, Bellefontaine’s Ari Nunez and Indian Lake’s Callie Notestine.
Jonathan Alder won the Kenton Trail division championship and had the player of the year with Ava Francis.
North Union’s Journey Blevins was selected as the Mad River division player of the year.
Rounding out the Kenton Trail first-team squad were Alder’s Francis and Emma Shepherd, Kenton Ridge’s Bree Trainer, London’s Lexi Zabloudil, Tecumseh’s Ava Ehlinger and Springfield Shawnee’s Tori Huxley.
Making up the second team were Alder’s Lauren Howell and Kennady Izzard, London’s Briana Calloway and Grace Ayers, Kenton Ridge’s Gabby Thaxton, Shawnee’s Ashley Dingeman and Tecumseh’s Caitlin Cory.
Special mention nods went to Alder’s McKenzie Wright, Kenton Ridge’s Brynn Williams, London’s Elli Trimble, Shawnee’s Gabby Thornton and Tecumseh’s Bailey Drews.
Others earning Mad River first-team spots were North Union’s Blevins and Jordan Hoffman, Graham’s Lindsey Brayton and Aisley Setty and Urbana’s Emily Skelly.
The remaining second-team spots went to North Union’s Grace Brandt and Kayla Sedgwick, Graham’s Gillian Setty, Northwestern’s Emma Crew and Urbana’s Maleah Murphy.
Picking up special mention selections for the Mad River division were Graham’s Alexa Adams, North Union’s Emma Lindsey, Northwestern’s Mattie Steiner and Urbana’s Ella Taylor.
