Representatives from Grange Solar host an open house event from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at their Lakeview office, 130 E. Lake St., Lakeview.
The Grange Solar team will be available to meet with and answer questions from community members, and to share details about the project and its benefits. The event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided.
“We encourage anyone who has questions or is interested in Grange Solar to come out, meet the team and learn more about the project,” said Jason Smith with Grange Solar.
“Grange Solar will bring significant benefits to Logan County, including decades of stable revenue for local schools and services — and we are committed to working with the community to ensure they understand the project, that their voices are heard, and that their questions are answered.”
According to the project’s website, grange.solar, Grange Solar is an early stage solar facility located in Logan County and is being developed by Open Road Renewables, a U.S.-backed energy developer.
Open Road Renewables has successfully permitted seven utility-scale solar facilities in Ohio and has developed dozens more throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.
For individuals who can’t attend the open house, but would like more information, they are invited to contact Smith via e-mail at [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
