A motorist and her passenger were injured in a crash that tied up traffic in the 800block of south Main Street at about 4 p.m. Friday. Officers of the Bellefontaine Police.
Department report Leslie R. Krabill, 57, of Bellefontaine, and Arianna N. McIntire, 11, also of Bellefontaine, were taken by Bellefontaine squads to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Ms. Krabill was attempting to pull from the parking lot of KFC, 817 S. Main St., and was struck broadside by a northbound car driven by Jayson L. Chapman, 16, of Springfield, who did not require immediate medical attention.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles and Ms. Krabill was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
