Breanna Bunker, 19, of Powell, was cited for failure to control following a crash about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on County Road 9 just south of Rushsylvania at the railroad tracks.
She reportedly was operating a southbound car on C.R. 9 when she slid on the snow-covered road and drove off the right side, striking the railroad tracks. No injuries were reported, and damage to her car was heavy.
• Caleb Sullivan, 22, of Belle Center, was cited for failure to control following a non-injury crash about 1 a.m. Friday.
He reportedly was operating an eastbound car on County Road 55 when he drove through the T-intersection at Township Road 184 and struck a fence and a tree, causing heavy damage to his vehicle.
• A motorist from Dayton was cited for failure to control after a 7:15 p.m. Friday crash, deputies report.
Chelsea Dixon, 23, of Dayton, northbound on County Road 5 south of the U.S. Route 33 overpass when she went off right side of the road, overcorrected, traveled off left side of the road into an embankment and struck a tree.
Damage was severe but Ms. Dixon did not report injuries.
Employee charged for taking lottery tickets
Sherry Heath, 47, of 6761 Lima St., Huntsville, was issued a summons for misdemeanor theft after her employer, Lugnuts, 6748 Lima St., Huntsville, reported a theft of lottery tickets
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the business Monday to speak with the manager, who reported that $30 in scratch-off lottery tickets had been stolen. The lottery tickets were cashed at Speedway, 329 S. Main St., Bellefontaine.
Deputies reviewed video surveillance from Speedway, and identified Ms. Heath as the suspect.
Ms. Heath was questioned by deputies, and she admitted to taking the lottery tickets while she was working the drive-thru window and said she meant to pay back her workplace. She apologized for her actions, and was issued the summons.
