Kim-Meisha She-Neill Peart, 18, of 326 Garfield Ave., was charged with assault, resisting arrest, underage consumption of alcohol and persistent disorderly conduct after a 2:50 a.m. Sunday incident at 214 Pratt St.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department arrived and observed two women fighting in the yard outside Apartment 8. The suspect was separated from Tonja Parsley, but she struggled with officers, was handcuffed and placed in the rear of a cruiser.
Peart began kicking at the windows of the cruiser and claimed she had not been drinking.
She continued to kick and scream during the transport to the Logan County Jail where she was placed in a restraint chair.
A squad was called to the residence for Parsley because of the injuries she sustained.
• Tina M. Huffman, 55, at large, was charged Friday with public intoxication and obstructing official business and served a warrant for telecommunications harassment.
Around 10:50 p.m., officers responded to Speedway, 329 S. Main St., on the report of a women asking for money. She was found across the street and gave officers a fake name.
When she provided a Social Security number to confirm her, she took off running, but was quickly caught.
She was arrested and lodged in jail.
