Mackayla A. Chambers, 23, of Bellefontaine, was transported by Perry Township EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in a rollover crash on U.S. Route 33 early Tuesday morning.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a westbound 2001 Honda Civic near State Route 347 about 1:30 a.m. during snowy conditions when she traveled off the right side of the road and struck the ditch. Her vehicle then overturned. Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene.
The driver was wearing her seat belt. No citations were issued.
• Abigail L. Taylor, 16, of Bellefontaine, did not report any injuries following a crash early Tuesday morning on State Route 540 at County Road 5.
Deputies report she was operating a westbound 2008 Honda Civic about 12:30 a.m. during snowy conditions and attempted to negotiate a curve when she continued westbound leaving the roadway and entering a ditch. Damage was moderate to the car, which was towed from the scene.
The driver was wearing her seat belt and no citations were issued.
• Deputies also responded to a non-injury slide-off crash Monday evening in Rushsylvania.
James J. Stratton, 41, of Zanesfield, was operating a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Malibu on east Mill Street near Railroad Street about 7 p.m. and traveled off the north side of the road and struck a reflector sign. He was cited for control and was wearing his seat belt.
Damage was light to the car.
