William Bernard Faust, 71, of Cincinnati, formerly of Indian Lake, passed away Saturday morning, April 30, 2016, at Wellspring Health Center, Cincinnati.
Born on May 21, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Regis A. and Leona Ruffing Schroder Faust, he married Joan Ann Stokes in Pittsburgh on April 3, 1965, and she preceded him in death Oct. 14, 2012.
He is survived by four daughters, Shari (Bob) Tenbrink of Bright, Ind., Melissa (Nick) Petrocelli, of Colerain and Carrie (Nathan) Ragan and Wendy (Tim) Spencer, both of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Brad and Danielle Tenbrink, Vincent and Justin Petrocelli, Ella and Paige Ragan, Alexandra, Rhianna and JT Spencer; three great-grandchildren, Logan and Taylor Tenbrink and Hayden Page; one brother, Regis Faust of Merced, Calif.; and one sister, Betty Dornetta of Stow.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver and worked for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines and Allied Car Corp. He was a member of the Doyle R. Miller AMVETS Post 39, Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533 and Indian Lake FOE Aerie 3615, all of Lakeview, and the American Legion and VFW. William enjoyed fishing, boating, socializing with friends, but most of all taking rides on his golf cart.
Rick Witt will conduct a funeral at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, where visitation is two hours prior, with military rites by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard. Inurnment is in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
