Rates increase $1 per month
The West Mansfield Village Council accepted the resignation of longtime Utility Clerk Dolores Pettit, and thanked her for her years of exemplary service to the village during this week’s regular council meeting.
Village utility rates will also increase $1 per month to stay in line with operating expenses, Administrator Dave Evans reports.
The new minimum water operating charge will be $22.75, an increase of 75 cents. The new minimum sewer charge will be $13.25, an increase of 25 cents. The water debt charge will remain unchanged at $28 and the sewer debt charge will remain at $44. The new minimum bill, if all services are billed, will be $108, up from $107. Each additional cubic foot of water usage will cost 10 cents, which brings the cost of a gallon of additional water to 1.34 cents.
