Wesley D. “Wes” Dyer of Palmetto, Fla., formerly of Bellefontaine and Dublin, Ohio, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He had fought a year-long battle with cancer, but had also sustained injuries in a car accident in October 2020.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Dyer.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Dyer of Palmetto, Fla.; his mother, Jean Dyer, and sister, Valerie Rhoades (Dale), both of Bellefontaine, and brother, Rick Dyer of Marysville; three nieces, a nephew, a stepdaughter and four step grandchildren.
The family would like to thank special step granddaughter Cortny Stricker of Palmetto for acting as a liaison between the hospital and the family and all she did to assist in his care. Per Wes’ request, he will be cremated and a service conducted at a later date.
