WARNER |
Adam J. Warner, 30, of 117 W. Williams Ave., was lodged Tuesday in the Logan County Jail on charges of possession a counterfeit controlled substance, permitting drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear.
An officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department on patrol spotted Warner outside his residence and acted to serve the warrant.
As he took the suspect into custody, the officer searched Warner and found a rock of suspected crack cocaine in the band of his ball cap. Warner said it was drywall plaster and he intended to sell it.
He also acknowledged that he allows people to use his residence to abuse drugs and that there was paraphernalia throughout. A legal search of the residence found multiple pipes, burnt spoons, a crack pipe and hypodermic needle.
