The Logan County Health District will be offering walk-in flu clinics at the 310 S. Main St. facility at the following dates and times:
• 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1; and
• 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8.
No appointment is necessary. Participants must: be 6 months of age or older, be accompanied by an adult if under age 18, and take a driver’s license or photo ID and current insurance card (if applicable).
Most insurances are accepted and the vaccine is free to those without insurance.
Health district officials said receiving the flu vaccine is crucial this year with the other ongoing health concerns.
“As the LCHD continues their efforts amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important that the threat of flu season is not overlooked,” officials said.
“The CDC reports that flu cases peak in February of each year. If you have not received your flu vaccine this year, come visit the Logan County Health District for one of our walk-in clinics.”
The COVID-19 vaccine will not be offered during this walk-in flu clinics. To get on the waiting list for the COVID-19 vaccine, visit www.loganhealth.org. The COVID-19 vaccine cannot be given within 14 days of another vaccine.
