Calvary Christian’s varsity boys basketball team was defeated by Waynesfield-Goshen 70-55 on Monday.
The Spartans got off to a good start as they took a 23-21 lead at halftime.
However, the Tigers used a 21-8 run in the third quarter to take control.
Isaac Reinhard led the Spartans with 20 points and 18 rebounds. Xavier Daniels contributed 17 points and Dylan Jordan and Titus Davie chipped in eight points apiece.
In the junior varsity game, the Tigers won 32-28. Ephraim Daniels and Caleb King each had seven points for the Spartans.
