The Logan County Board of Elections reports that local voter turnout for the March 19 primary election was 22.24 percent.
A total of 7,155 votes were counted as a part of the unofficial canvass.
Among those ballots were 4,031 cast on Election Day, along with 2,728 cast early in-person and 396 cast via absentee ballot.
There are 42 outstanding absentee ballots that have not yet been received, but must already be in the mail system and received by the Board of Elections office by Saturday, March 23.
There are also 43 provisional ballots that will be examined at the Logan County Board of Elections’ official canvass, which will be concluded April 9.
