Vicki was born on June 2, 1955, in Fort Benning, Georgia to Richard Wise, who survives, and the late Shirley A. (Foote) Partington. She flagged down the love of her life in Jackson Center and married Richard E. Powell on June 30, 1973.
Vicki is survived by her husband Rick and two children: Chris (Julie) Powell of Van Wert and Jaime Powell of Lakeview; three grandchildren: Alyssa, Eva, and RJ; three sisters: Kay (Doug) Burch of Jackson Center, Angela (Walt) Gill of Loveland, Ohio and Jodi Eagen of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley A. Partington and her mother-in-law, Eloise L. Siebeneck, both of whom she loved and missed dearly.
Vicki worked many years at Holloway Sportswear in Jackson Center, Gems Sportswear in Russells Point, Lakeview Northside Market and Kevin’s Northside Pizza in Lakeview. Vicki was a charter member of the Indian Lake Women of the Moose 452 and member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533 where she met many wonderful members of her Moose family during the last years of her life. With beautiful blue eyes and a big smile to match, she was warm, inviting, and compassionate to all. Vicki’s greatest joy came from her family, and she greatly loved and cared for them.
