An undetermined amount of prescriptions drug were stolen in Friday’s robbery of My Pharmacy, 932 E. Sandusky Ave., after the pharmacist was forced to the floor and left bound by three gunman.

Bellefontaine Police Sgt. D. Allen Shields said detectives were working with the pharmacist to determine what drugs and how much were stolen in the robbery that occurred roughly between 8:10 a.m. and 8:25 a.m.
The pharmacist was alone at the time.
She alerted police as soon as she freed herself.
Police officersand deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office converged on the area as quickly as they could but the suspects, described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts, were gone.
Sgt. Shields said they ran to a vehicle and fled the area.
Investigators are trying to develop a description of the vehicle and direction of travel from the scene.

In a related observation, Sgt. Shields said this event highlights the importance of motorists pulling over for emergency vehicles.
He related he was on the way to the scene and traffic had pulled over for his cruiser.
A motorist did not see his lights nor hear his siren and pulled from a side street into his path.
