Roger E. Corral, 32, of 309 E. Lawrence St., was charged Sunday with domestic violence.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to the home around 4:40 a.m. and found the defendant damaging windows and interior walls of the residence.
He had drank as many as eight beers and appeared intoxicated.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

• Jarvis Montez Magee, 27, at large, was charged Wednesday with felony domestic violence.
Officers were called to Billie Henderson’s 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 117, around 1:45 p.m.
She told them the defendant and she have children together. He showed up and began arguing with her.
He hit her and knocked her out.
Officer observed visible injuries to her face, noting the area of her left jawbone was extremely swollen.
She was treated for her injuries at Mary Rutan Hospital.
Women stopped with stolen goods
Brittany N. Knox, 26, of 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 236, was charged Thursday with theft after she concealed merchandise in her purse while at Dollar General, 338 E. Columbus Ave. She was stopped outside the store.

• Sady K. Young, 25, of 218 S. Main St., Apt. 1, was arrested Saturday for theft and possession of a prescription drug.
She was stopped by store security at Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St., after she concealed a curling iron and tried to leave the store.
At the Logan County Jail, staff found a bottle with two tranquilizers in her purse.
Driver arrested for OVI
Robert F. Morris, 60, of 420 S. Oak St., Lakeview, was charged Saturday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and not using safety belts.
He was stopped around 12:25 a.m. after driving northbound in the 400 block of south Detroit Street, a one-way southbound street.
Field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired and breath test results were 0.147.
