Stacy M. Jacobs, 25, of 708 Heritage Drive, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs after she was found passed out in the driver’s seat of pickup truck at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday.
A resident at 425 E. Auburn Ave. called officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department to report a pickup was parked in his yard with the motor running.
Officers found her unconscious with an open empty bottle of alcoholic beverage in a console cupholder.
She admitted consuming three drinks and driving to the location, believing it was a friend’s home.
She was extremely unsteady on her feet and field sobriety tests indicated she was impaired by alcohol. A breathalyzer sample of 0.151 was collected from the motorist.
