About two years after public trust effectively bottomed out, rapid turnover in the administration of the Indian Lake EMS Joint Ambulance District and a successful operating levy campaign has the agency on sustainable financial ground.
And that should also mean completion of an unfinished building project across the street in 2018 as well, EMS officials believe.
November passage of an additional five-year, three mills levy is budgeted to bring in another $886,000 annually in additional operating revenue, according to a 2018 budget approved by the board in a regular December meeting.
