Brett Roubinek, president and CEO of Transportation Research Center Inc. (TRC), has been recognized by Smart Business Magazine as an Ohio Smart 50 Awards honoree.
The award celebrates top executives from Central Ohio’s 50 smartest companies for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations.
Roubinek has led TRC since 2017, helping to grow North America’s most advanced, independent mobility-testing complex to more than 500 people while setting record revenues each year.
Clients include the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and mobility innovators who come to TRC to test and refine their most advanced technologies.

Roubinek’s award from Smart Business Magazine comes on the heels of recognition by Columbus CEO Magazine, which named TRC as a “Top Workplace” in Central Ohio.
