Kyle A. Birt, 25, of 1000 Rush Ave., was charged Friday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for an improper turn.
He was stopped around 1:35 a.m. after an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed him make a wide turn from Carter Avenue onto northbound Main Street.
Field sobriety tests indicated he was under the influence of alochol and/or drugs. His breathalyzer samples were less than 0.05 and he submitted a urine sample for further analysis.
He was released to a relative.
• Jonathan A. Larsen, 29, of 2625 County Road 12, was charged Thursday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and cited for failure to signal before turning.
He was observed turning from Auburn Avenue onto Madriver Street without signaling. Officers detected an odor of alcohol and initiated field sobriety tests.
Based on officer observations, the motorist was detained. His breathalyzer samples were above 0.16.
He was released to girlfriend.
• Patricia M. Myers, 37, of 328 Garfield Ave., was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and child endangering in a 5:35 p.m. incident Friday.
Employees of Taco Bell, 2079 S. Main St., alerted police to a possible drunk driver who had driven up to the window to order before driving onto and over a curb.
She parked in the rear lot and came into the restaurant with her three-year-old daughter.
Officers report she was visibly intoxicated and unable to converse with officers.
The daughter was placed in the custody of her maternal grandmother. The driver was later released to her mother.
