A plan to finance $300,000 for the purpose of purchasing and renovating its next police station was approved Friday in a special meeting of the West Liberty Village Council.
Following an executive session, council voted 3-1 to borrow $300,000 from People’s Savings & Loan over 10 years for the purpose of purchasing and renovating a building located at 111 Runkle St.
Councilman Jay King cast the dissenting vote.
