Jamie M. Pickett, 28, of 9635 Orchard Island Road, Lakeview, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, while Tammy K. Rice, 43, of 525 E. Brown Ave., Apt. A, Bellefontaine, was served two warrants for trafficking in methamphetamine.
Roger L. West, 40, of 9027 Maple St., Lakeview, was lodged on a probation violation.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff ’s Office assisted task force detectives with a traffic stop at 4 a.m. on Orchard Island.
West was driving the vehicle and Pickett was among three passengers.
Pickett denied having any drugs on him, but fell to the ground and began convulsing. He would not respond to deputies, and an Indian Lake squad was called to the scene.
Prior to transporting him to Mary Rutan Hospital, investigators recovered a small bag with methamphetamine and a pipe from his front pants pocket. Upon arriving at MRH, another bag with methamphetamine was found in a cigarette pack Pickett was clutching in his hand.
Hours later Pickett was released from the hospital and two more bags were recovered as part of the Logan County Jail intake process.
At 4:45 a.m., officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department assisted detectives with serving warrants to Rice. She was ordered out of the apartment and taken to a police cruiser.
She admitted to concealing methamphetamine in her bra once inside the cruiser.
