Investigators from the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force arrested a pair of out-of-town suspects about 5 p.m. Monday on suspicion of dealing methamphetamine.
Derek Hoy, 23, of Urbana and Kimberly Evans, 23, of Marysville were arrested in the 100 block of east Main Street in Russells Point and charged each with one count of trafficking in methamphetamine. The task force reports it had been investigating the couple for bring the suspected meth into the county and selling drugs.
Suspected drugs were recovered during the arrest and additional charges are pending.
Both suspects are lodged in Logan County Jail.
