Joel E. Spatz, 22, of 2628 Township Road 179, Bellefontaine, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest related to two 911 open line calls at the home.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to his address about 7:40 p.m. It wasdetermined that Spatz had made the 911 calls and that he had locked himself in a bathroom at the home and was refusing to open the door.
Deputies forced entry into the bathroom area and Spatz became uncooperative with them. He reportedly began making a video of the encounter on his cell phone and refused all requests made by deputies on the scene.
Spatz reportedly began yelling obscenities at deputies and his parents.
Deputies attempted to place the defendant under arrest, and he became combative and refused commands to walk outside. He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
