A Dayton man was arrested Friday after he allegedly entered a Bellefontaine home and attacked a man visiting his estranged wife and his daughter.
Anthony R. Flowers, 34, was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of assault, criminal damaging and violating a protection order.
Drew A. Borghese of Westville told officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department he was at Christeina Borghese’s 629 N. Main St. residence around 1:40 p.m. Christeina Borghese left to pick up their daughter at school while Drew Borghese stayed at the residence.
He heard noises coming from the rear of the house and began to investigate. Flowers allegedly was already in the residence and charged at him. The victim was scratched and his shirt was ripped by the suspect.
Drew Borghese was able to get the suspect out of the house. Flowers then began walking but allegedly punched and kicked the victim’s car, leaving two large dents in the passenger side doors.
Flowers was located on foot nearby and taken into custody. He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
