Lacey Skeens, 27, of 145 Place St., Lakeview, was issued a summons for telephone harassment Thursday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about 5:45 p.m. from Kayla Overbey. She said Ms. Skeens had sent her numerous texts, phone calls and Facebook messages.
While deputies were meeting with Ms. Overbey, she received several phone calls from Ms. Skeens. Deputies also attempted to speak with Ms. Skeens over the phone. She was issued the summons at her residence.
Driver cited after S.R. 274 incident
Joshua J. Elsass, 37, of Wapakoneta, was cited for failure to control following an incident Thursday afternoon on State Route 274.
He was operating an eastbound pickup about 3:45 p.m. at County Road 23 when traffic in front of him slowed and he slammed on his brakes. He reportedly drove left of center and off the left side of the road where he struck a utility pole.
A westbound car operated by Charles E. Fortkamp, 67, of Maria Stein, also took evasive action to avoid being struck by the pickup. As a result, his vehicle went off the right side of the road and into a cornfield.
The pickup sustained light damage and the car was not damaged. The drivers were wearing their seat belts.
• Abdi A. Aadam, 46, of Columbus, did not report any injuries after his eastbound semi tractor-trailer struck a deer about 10:30 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 33 near State Route 366, causing moderate damage to his vehicle.
