A Benjamin Logan High School student was taken into custody Thursday and lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center after he allegedly made threats about shooting another student.
Dalton J. Gulasa, 16, of 4085 County Road 12, West Mansfield, denied making the threat, but two witnesses told an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department he vowed to shoot another student whom he claims has been bullying him while on bus rides to the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, 2280 State Route 540.
The witnesses heard the threat while working Wednesday with the suspect at a Bellefontaine fast food restaurant.
The officer informed Dalton of Logan County Prosecutor Eric Stewart’s zero-tolerance policy and charged him with delinquency aggravated menacing.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office assisted by taking the teen into custody at Benjamin Logan and transporting him to JDC.
