Cameron Daniels, 17, of Lewistown, was cited for speed and reckless operation during a traffic stop Thursday night.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department reportedly observed his vehicle traveling at 100 mph on State Route 235 near County Road 54 about 8:40 p.m. and initiated the stop.
Cameron told officers he was in a hurry to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes football game that was televised Thursday evening.

• Deborah Powell, 45, of New Carlisle, was charged with felony possession of drugs during a traffic stop Thursday.
Officers stopped her vehicle for an equipment violation, and observed a marijuana bowl sitting in the side panel of the driver’s door.
While officers were conducting a search, Powell admitted to having pills in her pocket. She was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Officers were assisted by the Russells Point Police Department.
