Calvary Christian’s soccer team dropped Elyria First Baptist 5-1 on Tuesday to reach the state final four in the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association tournament.
This is the Spartans’ second time reaching the state final four.
Calvary Christian built a 3-0 lead at halftime after Tyler Reinhard, Andrew Reinhard and Josh Kilgore each scored a goal.
In the second half, Kilgore added another goal to build a 4-0 advantage. Elyria First Baptist scored off a penalty kick to make it 4-1, but Tyler Reinhard quickly scored another goal to make it 5-1.
