SIDNEY — Racheal Potter, 34, a suspect wanted for a planned sexual assault on a 31-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday evening and indicted Thursday morning.
Officers of the Sidney Police Department took her into custody during a traffic stop in Sidney at 9:30 p.m.
A Shelby County grand jury met Thursday and handed up an indictment for a second-degree felony count of felonious assault and kidnapping, a first-degree felony.
She was named by a female victim who fled a house early Wednesday after two men and a woman tried to force the woman to engage in sex acts and attempted to remove her from the residence.
