A city man who returned to a pharmacy after allegedly stealing items on a prior visit was charged with shoplifting Thursday afternoon, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
Michael Roark, 24, of 204 E. Spruce St., was issued a summons for theft after employees of Rite-Aid, 230 S. Main St., reported the incident at 2:30 p.m.
The suspect reportedly visited the store earlier in the day and was seen leaving without paying for items. He returned later and was waiting for a prescription when store employees contacted the police.
