Sandra Mae Ansley Berry, 71, of Ashland, Neb., entered into rest Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at Ashland Care Center in Ashland, Neb.
She was born Aug. 12, 1948, in Kenton, to Paul and Margaret (Johnson) Ansley.
Sandra grew up in Zanesfield and was a 1966 Logan Hills High School graduate.
She was married to Butch Berry in August of 1990 in Missouri.
A large part of Sandra’s life was her work as a counselor at a rehab center in Camdenton, Mo. where she spent over 10 years. Sandra enjoyed writing poetry for patients at the rehab facility and she spent countless hours crocheting and teaching others to crochet.
She is survived by children, Michelle (Dean) Wising of Lincoln, Neb., Mike Ringler of West Mansfield, Joy Oliver and Karen (Wilbur) Overbey, both of Sidney, and Sherry (Wayne) Street of Mary Esther, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy (Dennis) Ewens; brothers, Kenny (Marsha) Ansley, Larry (Betty) Ansley and Steve (Gwen) Ansley; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Butch Berry; parents, Paul and Margaret Ansley; sister, Robin Newton; niece, Jennifer Ewens; son-in-law, Jeff Oliver. Memorials may be made to First Free Church of Lincoln, Neb
