Logan County Health District representatives display PPE supplies that were recently donated by the Bellefontaine Rotary Club. The donated PPE included personal protective gowns, shoe covers, gloves, temperature strips, N95 masks, and hand sanitizer. Some gloves and N95 masks were distributed to the Logan County Emergency Management Agency for dispensing to local law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials teams. Also through these donations, the health district has been able to supply PPE to long-term care facilities, health care physician offices, dentists, optometrists and ophthalmologists. This week, the LCHD is using the rest of the donated PPE to pack and prepare 40 small “push packs” of PPE’s for all of the health care facilities. For anyone who is in need of PPE, contact Helen or Kendra at the EMA office, (937) 593-5743 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. (LOGAN COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT PHOTO)
