Ronald K Jenkins 99 of Marysville, passed away June 29, 2021. He was born February 8, 1922, to the late Carl C. and Eva DeLacy (Starrett). Jenkins. On September 26, 1945 Ronald married Irene Hisel. They were married for 63 years and she preceded him in death.
Ronald retired from Rockwell Manufacturing and also worked for NYC Railroad. He was a proud Veteran of WWII, and a member of the 8th Air Force and 446 Bomb Group which were the leaders on D Day. Ronald was a member of the Zanesfield Community Chapel.
Ronald always enjoyed time with his family, and the many trips out West that he took with his wife. In his last years he also enjoyed his time at Walnut Crossing and the many friends there that were like family. A special thank you goes out to Robin and Stacey for the care and friendship they provided.
Survivors include his children: Cherie (Ivon) Brugler, Steve (Martha) Jenkins, Christi (Mark) Skidmore, Jon (Delores) Jenkins; grandchildren Terry (Barb) Bateman, Debi (John) Whitehead, Cyndie (Gabe Brown) Campbell, Jeffrey (Karen) Brugler, Laurie Creighton, Scott (Tracey) Jenkins, Jason (Jenny) Jenkins, Ryan (Misty Clark) Skidmore, Luke (Sarah) Skidmore, Codey (Hannah) Jenkins, Ashley (Mathew) Tignor; sisters Carol Potter, Phyllis Rees and Virginia Smith; 21 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Mike Black; siblings Thurman Jenkins, Von Jenkins, Delores Smith, Bernice Lynne and Audrey Lambert.
A funeral service will be at noon Tuesday July 6, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory, 5591 US Rt 68 S., West Liberty, Ohio 43357.
