The second annual reverse raffle to benefit the Logan County Agriculture Impact Fund is April 13 at the Bellefontaine Municipal Airport, 3100 State Route 47, Bellefontaine, sponsored by the Logan County Farm Bureau.
The impact fund provides grants to improve the agricultural footprint for youths in the county. More than $16,000 of agriculture enrichment projects were awarded in the county in the fund’s first year as reported in the Examiner.
“We are excited to be able to see the project have an impact on the agriculture community in the county,” said Tucker Berg, president of the Logan County Farm Bureau.
“With the establishment of this fund, we are giving the opportunity to grow and change the lives of those working to make agriculture a more vibrant industry.”
The $100 tickets include dinner for the purchaser and one guest and a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000, a runner-up prize of $2,000 or a third runner-up prize of $1,000. The evening includes a loser’s draw of $500, additional draws throughout the evening and other chances to win with an insurance board, a punch board, 50/50 drawing, lucky bucket prize drawing and a live auction that commences with the auction of the 300th ticket. Doors open at 5 p.m.
