Shady Bowl Speedway fell victim to rainy conditions Saturday and was forced to cancel the Bill Lewis Memorial and the custom car show. No make up date has been announced.
Racing returns Saturday to Shady Bowl and will honor the memory of Urbana’s Neal Sceva, who was a top driver in the tri-state area posting over 600 career feature win. Sceva career was cut short as he lost his battle with cancer.
The Sceva Memorial for this season be a 51-lap street stock main. The modifieds, pure stocks and tuners wll also be on the schedule. It will also be a Relay for Life fund raiser. The proceeds will benefit leukemia and lymphoma research. Racing will start at 7 p.m.
