Riverside’s girls basketball team struggled to find the basket Monday as host Bradford pulled away for a 48-25 non-league victory.
The loss drops the Pirates to 6-14 on the season.
Bradford led 8-2 after the opening quarter and outscored Riverside 11-5 in the second quarter. That put the Railroaders out to a 19-7 lead at halftime.
The second half saw Bradford outscore Riverside 29-18.
For the Pirates, Courtnie Smith had seven points and six rebounds and Marissa Davis added six points and six rebounds.
