Local News Raiders ‘Reach Out’ to help their community “REACH Out!” week was celebrated at Benjamin Logan Middle School last week, culminating with a unique food drive Friday. Students and staff donated boxes of cereal, and lined up the boxes to created a “domino effect” in the halls and BLMS commons. Through this effort, more than 800 boxes of cereal were donated to the Rushsylvania Church of Christ food pantry, as well as food pantries in Belle Center and West Mansfield. Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of themed activities focused on the REACH aspects of Respect, Empower, Accept, Care and Help.
