Benjamin Logan played some of its best baseball of the season Tuesday against host Northwestern and the result was a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division championship.

The Raiders used a strong defensive effort and timely hitting to grab a 4-0 win over the Warriors in Springfield.
This marks Ben Logan’s first league title in three years and the program’s third in the last five years. The Raiders won the Mad River division title in 2014 and 2015.
“I’m very proud of these guys,” said Ben Logan head coach Scott Wilson. “They put a lot of hard work and effort in. We’ve only had two practices on our field and had to work hard in the gym. The guys kept talk- ing about how no one would work as hard as us.
“Everyone understands their role. We have strong senior leadership and a good culture that is conducive to Ben Logan being successful.”
