Quincy driver Josh Smith stole the show at his home track Saturday night, winning the 72-lap Bob Korn Memorial feature for the late models at Shady Bowl Speedway.

Shady Bowl honored the late Korn, who was a well-respected local car builder, with the 72-lap late model feature. Korn’s cars were raced with the number 72.
Smith swept the night’s events in his class. He set the fast time, won his heat and then went on to record the feature win. He claimed the $2,000 first-place prize and also picked up the hard charger award.
Smith took the lead on lap 17 and dominated from there. He was followed to the finish line by Mike Ward, Don Mahaffey Jr., Buddy Townsend and Larry Kemp. Jesse Gade also earned a heat win.
