A Bellefontaine woman whose forged prescriptions were caught by a conscientious pharmacist was among several defendants to appear before visiting Judge Mark S. O’Connor in Logan County Common Pleas Court this week.
Imeree Young, 21, pleaded guilty to three counts of forgery and was placed in the prosecutor’s pretrial diversion program.
She reportedly was forging prescriptions to obtain liquid codeine and was discovered in late July by a pharmacist at the Kroger Pharmacy, 2129 S. Main St., who checked the authenticity of the prescription with doctors in Columbus.
She must comply with supervision from the prosecutor’s office to avoid a felony conviction on her record.
