The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Prayer Vigil for Peace and Justice will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at the First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Main St.
Residents may stop by the church throughout the day to offer prayers in connection with the national observance of the late Civil Rights Movement leader’s birthday.
