Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department found 13 mailboxes damaged or tampered with in the Whispering Pines neighborhood around 12:40 a.m. today.
Affected were Scott Norviel, 1709 White Pines Drive; Devin Palmer, 1612 White Pines; Ami Harshfield, 1705 White Pines; Robert Newkirk, 1608 Whispering Pines Drive; Charles Jordan, 113 Red Pine Drive; Jeremy Karg, 1417 Pinewood Court; Duane Wickham, 1408 Pinewood; Sidney Wood, 1500 White Pines; Cody Zell, 1409 White Pines; Linda Erwin-Hutchins, 213 Bent Pines Court; and Caleb Lang, 128 Belle Pines Court.
Many mailboxes were removed or knocked from posts while others were found open with bent posts and stones placed inside.
