Triad’s girls basketball team could not get its offense on track Thursday as host Cedarville ran away with a 56-28 Ohio Heritage Conference victory over the Cardinals.
The Indians improve to 18-3 overall and 9-3 in the OHC, while the Cardinals are now 5-15, 2-11.
Cedarville rolled to an 18-5 lead after the opening quarter and the Indians led 30-18 at halftime.
The second half was all Cedarville as it outscored the Cardinals 26-10 over the final two quarters.
Jenna Ober powered the Cardinals with 20 points.
Cedarville won the junior varsity game 53-16.
Triad travels to Greeneview on Monday for another OHC contest.
